Oh Loving and Caring God! You are all seeing! You see what is out and visible and what is in and invisible. You are all hearing! You hear what is loud and what is silent. We come to You with our supplications on this day. Bless this gathering in honor of victims of 9/11 tragedy and all who suffered! Be with us with Your Mercy, Compassion and Peace. Be our source of strength. Help us get closer to You.
Almighty God! Creator and Sustainer of the Universe! We are before You on the 10th anniversary of the heinous, evil and tragic event of Sep 11. We pray for the victims of this tragedy and ask for their healing and recovery from it.
Most Holy one! In your Holy Qur’an You tell us that there are eventual blessings and lessons in every apparent evil event and disaster. Help us to get the required lessons of this monstrous event. So that these kinds of events will not happen again. You are the most Wise! Be our source of wisdom and show us the right path.
Through this tragedy and its destructive outcomes, many innocent human beings have suffered and are still suffering. Help us realize, understand and appreciate the pain and suffering of those in many different parts of the world where every day is Sep 11 for them. Generations grow up in war zones without knowing what peace means. Make us Your instruments to deliver Your Divine Peace into those troubled areas.
All-knowing God! This heinous Sep-11 experience very painfully proved how crucially we are in need of dialogue, understanding and compassion. We clearly saw through this tragic experience, how essential to build bridges between different nations, races, ethnicities and faith communities. And how much humanity is in need of such bridge builders and peace makers. Empower us in this holy mission. Remove the obstacles from our ways. And bless us with abundant opportunities to serve you in this highly needed mission.
