IDC is organizing these luncheons in cooperation with the Greater New Jersey Conference of the United Methodist Church, the Presbytery of the Palisades and the Interweave.
This fourth luncheon was on Respecting the Sacred and hosted three speakers from three Abrahamic religions.

Dr. Levent Koc, Interfaith Dialog Center
Dr. Richard M. Shain from Philadelphia University moderated the panel discussion and asked below questions to each panelist.
1- Talk about a sacred object in your religion. What role does it have in ritual? What makes it sacred?
2- What does respecting the Sacred mean for each of our religious faiths?
3- What are we taught about respecting the Sacred as defined and designated by our own faith tradition?
4- How ought we to interact with the Sacred as defined and designated in faith traditions other than our own?
