Third IDC Luncheon Forum was held on Wednesday November 12, 2008 this academic year. Mr. Richard L. Cañas, Director, New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness explored an important issue: Public Law Enforcement Issues in a Multicultural Setting.

He started his speech explaining the difference between Federal Homeland Security and State Homeland Security. Then, he defined what NJ Homeland Security is supposed to do, what other organizations it works with, etc. Later, he talked about multicultural issues in public law enforcement.
