Most recent IDC Luncheon hosted Frank Scandale, Editor of Bergen Record, on Wednesday February 3, 2010. He made a wonderful presentation in great atmosphere, which was followed by great discussion.

Frank Scandale has been in the field for about 30 years.  He says the Bergen Record is unbiased, fiar and balanced and it captures the local and regional news,  He said "We make a diference."  He talked about how they share the news with The Star Leger, example of the two gets the news and shares it with the other, they each put their own perspective on the reported news. The Bergen Record writes their news by giving detail and explanation about the story, people already know what happened, they want to know how it happened. The Bergen Record has people in Haiti reporting news and also checking to see how people from New Jersey are trying to help out with the Earthquake.
