The IDC celebrated Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a program, IDC Women Gatherings, at ANT Book Store. The gathering was on Friday evening Oct 29, 2010. Dr Mukaddes Yasar, MD at Englewood Hospital, delivered a speech about reasons, precautions and diagnoses of breast cancer and answered the questions of the audience. Breast cancer survivors shared their stories with the other women during the presentation. Turkish tea and refreshments were served at the end of program.
