Temple B'nai in Morristown hosted the IDC in a Ramadan dinner on August 12th, 2011. Guests from the Temple and some Turkish American families came together to break the fast with a dinner provided by the IDC.
Dr. Mesut Sahin gave a brief speech informing the guests about the month of "Ramadan".
We thank Rabbi Mary Zamore for organizing the evening the dinner. All enjoyed friendly conversations and a delightful dinner. Jewish and Muslim families shared the table to meet each other and develop friendship. They exchanged each other's contact information and we do hope that we will come together on many more occasions.
