Reformed Church of Highland Park hosted an Abraham' Table on January 23rd, 2011 together with new friends from Muslim, Jewish, and Christian faiths! The food was absolutely marvelous, so tasty and healthful, and attractive. It was so nice to try new dishes. People ate things new to them and enjoyed discussions with the people around them about the historic and religious significance of some of the food items.

Adventurous discovery did not stop after food.  As religious leaders from each faith spoke about lessons in the Noah story, people had a wide variety of comments and questions.  It was so great to sit and listen to each other, ask questions, get to know each other, break down some of our stereotypes, find what we have in common, celebrate our differences, and enjoy being together as the human family and God's family.
