IDC partipated to the Path to "Global Unity & Understanding" program organized by Somerset County Cultural Diversity Coalition. The event took place on Saturday, September 8th 2007 at the United Reform Church in Somerville, NJ. The main theme of the Interfaith Community Peace Dialogue event to understand how everyone in the world community can find meaning & understanding for Peace.

Ferhan Tunagur from the Interfaith Dialogue Center shared the Muslim perspective. The Unitarian Universalist perspective was presented by Julie Newhall from the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Somerset Hills in Somerville; Vikas Chawla from "The Art of Living" shared the Hindu Perspective; Father Ed Murphy, from St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Bound Brook, presented the Christian perspective; Dr. Ali Chaudry from the Center for Understanding Islam, shared his organization's interfaith dialogue activities plans; Aditya Man Shrestha presented a Humanist perspective; and Dr. Gurprakash Singh from Garden State Sikh Association presented the Sikh Perspective. The participants and the audience enjoyed the beautiful singing of Yolanda throughout the event. The keynote speaker was the Ambassador for Peace from Nepal-Ugyen Sherab, the reverend Buddhist Monk Krishnaman. Monk Krishnaman shared his vision for global peace.
