IDC’s second interfaith-intercultural trip to Turkey started on May 22. The cities that were visited on the trip were Istanbul, Izmir, Konya, Cappadocia and Kayseri. In addition to historical sites like Hagia Sophia, Ephesus, House of Virgin Mary, underground city, Cappadocia museum, the group also visited some private educational institutions and humanitarian aid organizations. Participants of the trip also experienced first hand Turkish culture in the homes of Turkish families.
