First IDC Luncheon Forum this academic year took place on Wednesday October 15, 2008. Essex County Prosecutor Ms. Paula Dow was the guest speaker.

She delivered a very informative speech about the history of crime in Essex County. She also talked about major incidents in the county, like deadly Seton Hall dorm fire that caused big changes across country.

There was diverse audience from different professions. Q&A followed the speech.
