Celebrating the birth of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with Sufi Music

 Turkish American Muslims celebrated the birth of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) with sufi music concert and whirling dervishes at NJPAC. More than 2500 people attended the event and had chance to listen to Turkey's the most famous classical and sufi musician Ahmet Ozhan. Whirling dervishes performed their spiritual dance along with Ozhan’s sufi songs. There were attendants from distant places like Philadelphia, Washington DC, Burlington, Pittsburg, Chicago, etc.

Program started with chanting of the Qur'an. Then, winners of the "Letter to the Prophet" contest were awarded. Concert continued more than 1.5 hours.
