North Jersey Dialogue and Unity Dinner
State and elected officials, religious leaders, academics and civic leaders came together to promote tolerance, peace and dialogue on the annual North Jersey Dialogue and Unity Dinner on Sunday, September 28, 2008.
Mr. Fethullah Gulen, IDC’s honorary president, joined the evening with his message, which was read by Dr. Mary Norton of Felician College.
Rev. Donald Pitches, First Presbyterian Church in Carlstadt provided a very helpful insight on interfaith dialogue and how IDC started off.
Rev. Donald Pitches was introduced by Mayor William Roseman, Carlstadt.
Several dignitaries including Asm. Gary S. Schaer, Mr. Weysan Dun of FBI and Bergen County Sheriff Leo McGuire, Mayor Randy George, North Haledon, Mayor Mola, Elmwood Park, Mayor Anzaldi, Clifton expressed their impressions, saying how beautiful this night is.
