Huffington Post: Teaching Peace in Our Schools by Alp Aslandogan

image001As planned, we were able to place your column about Monday’s conference on the Huffington Post, with an accompanying slide show of photos from the contest.

See the story here:  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/alp-aslandogan/teaching-peace-in-schools_b_1915773.html#slide=1571244

This is a good placement, but more importantly it helps pave the way for regular contributions in the future.  Once the website is up, it will help drive traffic and support optimization.

For those of your colleagues and stakeholders who are unfamiliar, the Huffington Post is perhaps the most heavily trafficked news website.  I’ve provided a chart below of unique monthly visitors in 2011, illustrating that it has steadily increased traffic to surpass the New York Times late last year.  In July 2012, The Huffington Post was ranked #1 on the 15 Most Popular Political Sites list by eBizMBA Rank which bases its list off each site’s Alexa Global Traffic Rank, and U.S. Traffic Rank from bothCompete and Quantcast.

Jesse Lewin on our team, copied here, shepherded the placement yesterday through his contacts.  Thanks to him and the rest of the team for their efforts here.

Congratulations on a nice column.

Best,

David
