The Peace Islands Institute, formerly the IDC, hosted its annual “Ramadan Dinner” for North Jersey at the Hyatt Hotel, Morristown on July 25th 2013. The theme “Understanding Hunger & Poverty by Fasting”.
The Master of Ceremonies was Imam W. Deen Shareef from, Majid Waarith ud Deen, Irvington NJ.
Speakers were Rabbi Donald Rossoff – Rabbi – Temple B’nai Or, Rev Jeff Markay Pastor from Chatham United Methodist Church and Harun Alacadag Interfaith Director of the Peace Islands Institute.
Each Speaker spoke on the topic from their own perspectives.
