October 27th, The Christ Church in Summit, NJ hosted the Peace Islands Instiitute in a Friendship Gathering.
Mr. Harun Alacadag welcomed the guests, he showed a brief video about the Peace Islands Insitute and touched up on certain points.
PII volunteers also prepared homemade Turkish food for the guests which everyone enjoyed very much. It was a great day to build new friendships.
Friendship Gatherings aim to break down the barriers between our communities by visiting local churches, synagogues, and community centers.
We thank Rev Yarborough for working with us to make this event possible.
