We have visited Most Reverend Nicholas DiMarzio, Bishop of Brooklyn. Representatives of Turkish Americans from New York City as well as Rev. Francis Tiso, Associate Director of Secretariat for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs, US Conference of Catholic Bishops, were also present at the visit.

We have briefed Turkish American Muslims’ contributions to the interfaith dialog in New Jersey and in New York. We also talked about future interfaith projects that could be put into practice easily and that would strengthen bonds between Muslims and Catholic Christians.

We presented the Bishop a hand made Turkish tile.
