Nov 11th, the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Chatham NJ, hosted the Peace Islands Institute in a Friendship Gatering. Turkish-Americans from the area brought the homemade traditional refreshments with them.
Cagatay Pehlivan, PII Representative of PII extended his thanks to the Reverend and to the members of the church for allowing PII to have the opportunity to organize such friendship event. Then, he continued his words with stating that PII values these friendship meetings because of its influence and great impact on mutual understanding that builds long-lasting friendship. He stated that the success of these types of events lies in the sincerity.
